Welcome to the 2022-2023 Season Registration for the

Highland Park Giants Hockey Association.

REQUIRED FORMS & REGISTRATIONS
Registration closes DATE and a $1,300.00 non-refundable deposit must also be paid by this date.

Along with the accompanying online registration tool, all new and returning players also need to complete:

  1. USA Hockey Consent To Treat/Medical History Form, USA Hockey Participant Code Of Conduct Form, SafeSport, Waiver and Concussion Form, AHAI High School Hockey Participation Form, District 113 - HPHS Athletics Permit Card/Grade Consent Form, HPHS Hockey Parent Code of Conduct and COVID-19 Waiver.  
  2. All players, new and returning, must fill out these forms.
  3. USA Hockey Registration. Please see instructions below if you need to register with USA Hockey.
    1. Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
    2. Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.

 

PLAYER FEES:
Player Fees will remain unchanged from last year. 

The total cost per player is $5095.00 for the 2022-2023 season.  Each registration includes pre-season skates, tryouts, all team practices, weekly dryland training, and tournament registration fees.  The varsity players will have an additional surcharge - totaling $550.   - The surcharge covers 1 additional tournament, security for games that require it, a third official for games that require it, and the use of a temporary private locker room.

 

 

 

DEPOSIT/PAYMENT PLAN/OTHER FEE INFO:

  • A $1,300.00 deposit must be paid by July 30th.  This deposit is non-refundable.  If your child chooses not to try out or chooses not to play for the Giants after teams are selected you will forfeit this amount.
  • The second installment of 50% of your remaining balance is due September 30
  • The third and final installment of your remaining balance  is due November 15
  • There is a 10% discount for the second player per family
  • There is a 10% discount for goalies
  • There is a $585.00 equipment fee for all NEW PLAYERS. This includes 2 Jerseys (Home & Away), Shells, Hockey Bag, Home  & Away Socks, Giants Logo Helmet Stickers and Warm Up Jacket
  • Player families can purchase personalized yard signs for $110.00

Players must sell at least $400.00 worth of yearbook ads or opt out of selling them by paying a $400.00 fee.

 

LATE PAYMENT POLICY:

Any payments not received on the due date may be assessed a late fee of $100.  Players whose payment status is past due may not be allowed on the ice until their account is made current.  Any checks that are returned by the bank as NSF will be assessed a $65 fee to cover bank charges.

IF YOU USE PAYPAL YOU MUST SELECT "SEND TO A FRIEND" or you will be assessed a 2.5% processing fee.
